Welcome to Aggieland

This weekend we went to the A&M - Baylor game with our good friends, the Cooks. We were pleased that the Aggies won, although the game itself wasn't that interesting until halftime, when the Baylor band played some "music to get you movin' and groovin'"--as in Michael Jackson's Thriller. The best part was when the flag corps and the woodwinds threw down their flags and instruments and did the actual dance from Thriller. I don't think Kyle Field will ever be the same again.

Thanks for winning Aggies! Gig 'Em!

  2. All I have to say is Sic 'Em Bears forever!! How Michael Jackson and the Baylor band were brought together to unity?? A conundrum for the ages.

*this is me splashing my green and gold on your page!*

  3. If you think just the combination of Baylor and the King of Pop was nuts, you should've seen the dancing!

I forgot to add that we met Ashley's adopt a grandfather who is 105, and we almost ran smack dab into Rick Perry in a crowd. And Amy, we saw Bryan's sister! She was in the section next to us.

Obviously I left out a lot of details.

  4. I am glad you got to come to Aggieland and go to the game!! Since I was just at your house a week and a half ago, I am letting you off the hook for not calling to say you were in town!! You must have remembered that we were in Dallas for Paul's 10 year high school reunion and I ran in the Run for Shelter 15K around White Rock Lake! It rocked!! You will have to come stay with us next time!!
